Curio Nocturno - A Victorian gothic masquerade

Please join us for an evening of gothic elegance and mystery at the Sample McDougald House on Saturday evening March 1st, 2014 from 7 to 11pm.

Our first annual event hopes to transport you to experience moments where you can never tell who the person is behind the mask.

New Orleans in the early 1800’s conjures visions of dark alleyways with flickering gas street lanterns, mist rolling in off of the Mississippi River, and elegant men and women attending masquerade balls that are seldom experienced in our current society.

We invite you to dress in formal attire, and a mask will be required. This is intended to be a black tie affair with a bit of a twist. With it’s eclectic mix of cultures and characters, New Orleans has inspired the like of Tennessee Williams, John Grisham and Anne Rice…now let it be your inspiration to dress up and explore the beautiful setting of the Sample McDougald house in a grand manner.

Our guests will have the opportunity to be professionally photographed at the event, experience elaborately costumed dance performers, unique interactive performers and musicians. There will be opportunities to learn to waltz early in the evening, with a DJ outside on the house creating the mood and atmosphere. You never know what the curious night will unveil.

$65.00 per person
Admission will include hors d’oeuvres and two drinks. Additional cash bar will also be available.

Tickets must be purchased in advance online at www.curionocturno.com
