Florida Burlypicks Competition, July 7th

The 3rd annual Florida Burlypicks competition is approaching! This thrilling and eclectic competition has performers from all aspects of variety arts vying for the title and for a chance to compete in the World Championships in Denver this fall.

This year the competition will be take place at The Venue in Orlando, Florida on July 7th 2017 (7/7/17) and will feature entertainers from all over the state of Florida and beyond!

Come and cheer on your favorite acts to victory! From the Main Event Variety Arts competition, to the Master of Tassels & Master of Assels, AND Master of Improvisation… there is truly something for everyone at this wickedly talented and fiercely fun burlesque battle royale!

Florida Burlesque Festival

Cupcake Burlesque was delighted to assist with the First Annual Florida Burlesque Festival this past month in Ft Lauderdale!

The event was produced and organized by Bambi La Fleur, and was dedicated to her dear friend and pinup photography legend Bunny Yeager. The two evening event featured some of the top burlesque and boylesque acts from across the USA, 3 of the ladies from Cupcake Burlesque, PLUS several incredible performers from overseas as well! Cupcake Burlesque also had a contingent of support staff on hand to help out all weekend as well, to cover photography, stud muffin (stage hands) and stage kittening duties as well.  We’ll share just a lil tease of photos 😉 then scroll down for some handy links with more details, press and photos from this exciting first time event!

Talk Nerdy to Me, Cosplay Burlesque on Sept 27th!

The Cupcakes and their special guests are bringing sexy comic-con style fun to Respectable Street, as they transform into alluring vixens from a variety comics, animation, fantasy, sci-fi and maybe even video games.. and YOU’RE invited to be a part of it!

That’s right, we encourage, nay DARE you to show up in your finest cosplay attire, as we’ll be hosting a Cosplay Contest with EPIC prizes from both the Cupcakes AND Respecs! But if you prefer to leave the dressing up to us, so be it… either way we’ll see you there!
